Pastor Evander was born in Omaha, NE and grew up in various states along the Eastern coast.  He left home just two days after his 16 th birthday to live on a dairy farm in MD.

Pastor Evander came to know Jesus as his personal Savior at the age of 16 after initially going to church to meet a pretty girl that he heard attended that church.  He quickly learned to be a soul winner under the preaching and guidance of Pastor Donald E. Cunningham.  Just months after getting saved he felt God’s call into the ministry and surrendered his life to whatever God had for him.

He graduated from Northeast Baptist Bible College in 1996.  On June 21, 1997 he married his best friend and love of his life, Stacey Evander. Stacey has faithfully served with and encouraged him through their years of serving Jesus. 

Twelve years after initially graduating from Bible college, with the sincere desire to improve his study of God’s Word and to ensure that he was rightly dividing the Word of Truth each week, Pastor Evander returned to formal studies. While pastoring full time he earned his Masters of Biblical Studies from Gethsemane Bible Institute and then his Doctorate of Biblical Studies & Pastoral Theology from and Slidell Baptist Seminary.

He’s faithfully served our Lord as both assistant and pastor of independent fundamental Baptist churches for 25 years.  His love for God’s Word has cultivated in him a passion to win souls, encourage believers to grow, train God’s servants, and serve God with his all until Jesus calls him home.  His greatest desire is for Jesus to say unto him, “Well done thou good and faithful servant!”.
